The 39th Annual ArtFest is a three-day celebration of art and fine craft and an Inland Northwest tradition for the entire family.
MAC ArtFest is Spokane’s premiere juried art and fine craft fair and has been connecting our community to the world of art since 1985.
ArtFest is committed to highlighting handmade excellence and supporting artists in our region and beyond. The festival atmosphere is created with the addition of live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and Make-it-Art Kids’ Projects. It is presented and produced by The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, (MAC) a nonprofit organization. Proceeds from the event support art education, exhibitions, and community programming for youth and adults. All revenue from art sales goes directly to the artists.
Located on the MAC campus, the ArtFest grounds offer a beautiful, parklike backdrop with all the charm of the Browne’s Addition historic neighborhood and easy access to the MAC's amenities.
Friday, May 31 Noon-7 pm
Saturday, June 1 10 am-7 pm
Sunday, June 2 10 am-5 pm
Open rain or shine.
The perimeter of ArtFest will be fenced with two entrances on First Avenue; near the museum's main entrance and near Campbell House. Admission is $5 per person. Children 5 years and under are free. Your ticket includes access to all ArtFest activities and amenities as well as entrance to the Museum and Campbell House.
To ensure that people can come and go from ArtFest with as few traffic delays as possible, First Avenue will be blocked from Hemlock Street to S. Poplar Street. Only residents, emergency vehicles and disabled guests will be admitted at the barricades. For local residents, First Avenue will be open one-way east to west (Poplar to Hemlock).
Free on-street parking available throughout Browne's Addition. Handicap parking available in the MAC parking garage - enter on Hemlock & Riverside. Elevator access is available to the ArtFest grounds level.
Spokane Transit Routes 1 and 20 both stop within a block of the MAC. Bike racks are available near the main ArtFest entrance.
The MAC will be open regular hours (10 am-5pm) during ArtFest so visitors can combine their visits to the festival and museum exhibitions. Campbell House is open 12-4 pm.
